I am Assistant Professor of German at Southern Illinois University. My interests in language, literature, linguistics, and social interaction across cultures have resulted in study and work that traces from northern Germany to Northern Ireland and finally to the US.
My work bridges the German language and culture curriculum, language teaching pedagogy, and research in language acquisition and social interaction. This site provides information about my research, my teaching, and the German program at SIUC.
